These Handcrafted Jewelry Boxes by Bob and Betsy St. Clair of A Gift of Wood are unique and one-of-a-kind pieces. The unique design of each wood jewelry box is created by routing the space for your fine jewelry, one box at a time. These jewelry boxes will easily hold rings, earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and other small fine jewelry. The handcrafted jewelry boxes are approximately 8 1/4 inches long, 5 1/2 inches wide, and 1 3/8 inches thick. They are available in Maple or Cherry wood with stripes of contrasting woods across the top to enhance the beauty of the jewelry box. Each jewelry box has a routed bottom half of contrasting wood that has plenty of room for your jewelry. Clear laquer varnish provides a lasting, durable finish and rubber feet on the bottom provide a non-slip surface. Color of felt lining will vary. A great gift for birthdays, anniversaries, and graduations! Please note that no stain is used on any of our wood pieces. All woods are shown in their natural colors and are finished with a clear lacquer. The lacquer does not change the natural color of the wood. Cherry will naturally darken with age and become a deeper red. Please take time to look at the photos, which illustrate the natural colors of the various woods.
